Bug reporting
How to report bugs
NOTE: The bug tracker is public and everything you write can be read by everybody. It is similar to a public mailing list and it is difficult to remove any information.
IMPORTANT: If you think the bug is a severe security problem that should not be published immediately, please write only to our support address. See also our security page.
Please follow these guidelines before reporting a new bug:
- Check the documentation and mailing list archive to see if your problem is solved by changing the configuration.
- Check if the bug already has been reported here (open or closed).
- Please include all information to reproduce the bug. It is hard for
us to fix bugs that we cannot reproduce. We need to know the
installed version of GnuPG Desktop. Also include information
about your Windows version and best the output of
gpgconf --show-configs
- You can attach files to provide more information, but please make sure that the information is relevant and does not contain confidential data. Files uploaded to the bug tracker will be public and it might not be possible to retract them anymore. We prefer transcriptions over screenshots.
- If you have any doubts, please give us a phone call: +49-2104-4938-797
Due to malicious use attempts of the bug tracker we unfortunately need to ask bug reporters to register on this platform. If you have followed all steps above, please head over to the report form. If you prefer not to post to the public bug tracker and you are a customer you may write to support at gnupg dot com.
